Wednesday, October 6, 2010

With an estimated population of 11,836,970, it is easy for one to suggest that the traffic congestion in Paris is extremely bad. Fortunately, that is far from the truth because the government of France has prioritize public transportation as a beneficial way to avoid traffic congestion in Paris and thus, able to commute people efficiently.

The transportation system in Paris has been regarded as one of the best in the world. The Metro is the oldest type of rail transportation in Paris. This subway start daily operation from 5.30 am until 12.40 am and the single ticket is price at 1.70 Euros.

The other public transportation is Reseau Express Regional (RER) which is a commuter train system. The RER is faster and cheaper than The Metro. The price for a single RER ticket is 1.60 Euros and this commuter train also covers more area within Paris than the Metro. Plus, you can also use The Metro ticket to aboard RER. Convenience, isn’t it?

If you refuse to take the trains, you can ride a bus or taxi which able to take you directly to your desirable destination. Fare for these public transportations is also reasonable.

Hence, with so many transportation systems to choose from, you should have no more excuse for late to work. LOL.

hye Vincent,

That is not for advertisement.LOL. It is the symbol for the bus station. The printed number represented every bus station in Paris. Interesting isn't it?
