What kind of criteria do you prefer when come upon deciding the best city for you to live in? Is it because of the transportation, entertainment, cuisine, environment or the culture? Whatever it is, Paris the capital of France, have it all. Situated in northern France, Paris has an estimated population of 11,836,970 which shows people preference to stay at that particular city. Due to its magnificent architecture, rich in culture and cuisine, Paris has long emerge as one of the world’s top tourist destination. However, does all these contribute to my theory in which, Paris is the best city to live in the world? That is one good reason of why you should glued to your chair and keep reading my blog post. PARIS>The Transportation


With an estimated population of 11,836,970, it is easy for one to suggest that the traffic congestion in Paris is extremely bad. Fortunately, that is far from the truth because the government of France has prioritize public transportation as a beneficial way to avoid traffic congestion in Paris and thus, able to commute people efficiently. 

          The transportation system in Paris has been regarded as one of the best in the world. The Metro is the oldest type of rail transportation in Paris. This subway start daily operation from 5.30 am until 12.40 am and the single ticket is price at 1.70 Euros.

The other public transportation is Reseau Express Regional (RER) which is a commuter train system. The RER is faster and cheaper than The Metro. The price for a single RER ticket is 1.60 Euros and this commuter train also covers more area within Paris than the Metro. Plus, you can also use The Metro ticket to aboard RER. Convenience, isn’t it?

If you refuse to take the trains, you can ride a bus or taxi which able to take you directly to your desirable destination. Fare for these public transportations is also reasonable.

          If you happen to choose a city to live in, you should consider its climate as the major influence in your decision because it is vital for you to adapt to the city weather. As a typical European city, Paris enjoy all the four season of a year; spring, summer, autumn and winter.


          Spring season in Paris is blossoms with flowers and leaves which make the view even more fascinating. Thus, during this kind of season, you should make most of it by take a stroll in Paris famous parks such as Bois de Boulogne and Bois de Vincennes which both hold tantalizing panorama. You can also cycling your way to the streets of Paris to enjoy the view of spring season. These kind of activities will give you fresh air and take off your stress.

          The arrival of summer season means the beginning of pleasant temperature in Paris. The average temperature during summer is between 15°C to 25°C. It is not too hot though, just nicely warm for you to experience and also to enjoy the sunshine.

          Winter season occurs from December until March. In Paris, the average temperature can be as low as 3.6°C. The good news for people who live in Paris is the temperature during winter is usually above freezing and there is no such thing as heavy snow. So, you could still go to the market or visit some of your friends.
